We went to Florida for a week and had a great time!! It was definitely a whole different ball game taking a child. I had someone tell me the other day it is not called a vacation anymore when your kids are with you. It is called a trip. Vacation is when you go without kids!! I totally agree! Quinn did have a fun time, but he HATED the sand. We had to place him on a towel every time we went to the beach. He did not get that from my side of the family. I kept thinking he would get use to it, but he never did. I made him stand in the sand each day, but he would scream! I looked like an abusive Mom making my child build sand castles. HA!! Maybe next year he will have a different attitude about the sand. Other than that we had a great time spending time with the family!
