I have been trying to find a hair lady since I moved to Houston. I miss DAWN so much! She was my hair lady in Dallas. I loved her because she was so consistent! Every time I left her salon I was happy with my hair. :) So, I have gone to a couple of ladies and I just don’t LOVE my hair when they are finished. I know what your thinking……I am being a little high maintenance, but this is my hair we are talking about. I have short hair and I get it highlighted, so I have to go more frequent. I went back to one of the ladies and I left so unhappy this time. In fact, my mother got the wrath of a bad hair cut attitude when I got home. (She was watching Quinn.) My favorite line my mother said was “You can’t notice it from a distance.” WHAT?!? That does not make me feel better. Most people probably wouldn’t notice it. Robby didn’t even notice I got a hair cut!! BUT I NOTICE IT! I asked the Lord to show me a cute hair cut in HEB today, so I can ask where they get their hair done. Seriously, God is faithful even in the littlest ways. I stalked a girl in the grocery store, and got all of her girl’s info. SO We shall see??? ( I will keep you updated.) In the midst of all these things I decided to sit down and do my BSF lesson. We are studying Isaiah 53….I kid you not, One of the Discussion questions was “How important is outward appearance to your culture??” Awesome!! So, do I think it’s wrong to care about your hair? NO. Do I think it is wrong to be dramatic, cry over it, and act like it’s the worst thing that has happened? Maybe. ( I did all of those things.)
I just need to find a good hair dresser….That is all this girl is asking for!! Please feel free to leave names and numbers to your hair lady if you are from the Houston area. :)
Promise I will post pics of Quinn next. I have slacked on taking pictures.
